Choosing Alex as our piano teacher was the best decision for our child. After trying lessons with different teachers, Alex was the only one who made our kid come home with a smile and a newfound enthusiasm for learning piano. Alex's patience and understanding with young children are exceptional, and he genuinely cares about their learning journey, offering valuable advice on practice and musical development. We appreciate how Alex and Bonnie organize studio classes and recitals, creating an inspiring environment where students not only practice but also perform music. In less than a year, we have witnessed remarkable improvement in our child's piano skills. More importantly, we've noticed his growing dedication to practice and his excitement when mastering something new. We are incredibly grateful to have found such a wonderful teacher who has sparked our child's love for music from an early age.

Our son has been studying with Alex for about 6 months now and--WOW--he has progressed so much in an incredibly short amount of time. Not only is Alex a brilliant musician, but he's also an incredibly gifted teacher, and his lessons are fun and engaging. We are immensely grateful to have found him and even more so that our son is able to study with him! Students also have the opportunity to attend group lessons once a month, which is fantastic. It is so beneficial for students to be able to see their peers and their progress; we love that Alex and Bonnie provide this, as well as regular performance opportunities! I'm a big proponent of proper posture and technique, and Alex is quick to correct in a kind, nurturing way.

Alex has been amazing with my child. Very patient, attentive, supportive and encouraging. My child is 6 yearsd old and loves to talk out of turn and has many questions. Alex enjoys teaching and answering all his questions, and he enjoys learning from Alex. The progress from my child's first trail class (which was only 3 months ago) to his first recital has been phenomenal. I see the confidence and enjoyment on my child's face when he practices at home and it makes me feel, Alex is the right choice for him. I will continue sending my child to learn from him and definitely recommend other parents to give this team a chance. You won't be disappointed.

My daughter has been learning the piano for over 9 years, having had many different piano teachers along the way. Alex and Bonnie are our favorites — they are the BEST!! Their teaching is lively, engaging, interesting, and gentle yet firm. Actually, my kid wasn't very interested in playing a piano in her first couples of years, and I felt that she would quit at any time. Surprisingly, she has persevered and progressed at a visible pace since meeting Bonnie when she was 9. Under Alex and Bonnie’s guidance and support, she has completed the entire ABRSM exam series in 6 years and has fallen in love with playing a piano. Now, playing a piano is one of things she would do to relieve the stress. I feel so lucky that she has them as her teachers. I would highly recommend Alex and Bonnie!

Bonnie has been teaching my older girl piano since my older girl was in second grade. This is her sixth-year learning piano. During COVID, we switched to online learning. Even though it was online teaching, Bonnie helped my older girl pass her ABRSM grade 7 with distinction. My younger girl also started learning piano when she was in second grade. She has been learning the piano for four years. For the first two years, she was taking online lessons, and switching to in-person lessons after Bonnie decided to move back to Seattle. I was glad that my younger girl has improved her technique of playing the piano. We are lucky to have such a nice, professional and patient teacher to teach my girls. Bonnie is very nice and always encourages my girls. She always writes suggestions for my girls to practice after the class so that my girls can use the suggestions and practice at home. Thank you, Bonnie, for being such a great teacher.
